GALILEE LUTHERAN CHURCH
Gathering to hear God's story, be nurtured in faith, and share the good news
ADULT MINISTRY
Adult Forums
From October to May, Galilee hosts Adult Forum after worship at 11 a.m. Speakers of interest from partner organizations or other experts from the Twin Cities join us to teach about ministry, or sometimes simply about interesting things they are involved in.
Bell Choir
Galilee is blessed to have a full set of bells that need at least a dozen people to hear them all ring in one musical piece. Playing bells is fun! The bell choir plays in worship once per month and goes to participate in an annual Bell Choir Festival with hundreds of other ringers from around the Twin Cities. Consider trying it out. Practice is on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Bible Study
Bible Study is every Monday at 1 p.m. rain or shine. This Bible Study group is the foundation of our church. You can bring a bible from home, or use one from off our shelf, and open up the Good Book and thus open up our hearts and souls to God’s life-giving Word for us today.
Gali-Ladies
Meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 12pm.
Donut Group
On Tuesdays at 10am people gather in the library to eat the most delicious donuts and drink endless cups of good coffee and talk. This is a friendly, non-judgmental, non-competitive group of saints and sinners who share their stories about what’s new, shoot the breeze, care about each other, and always will pull up an extra chair for anyone who wants to join them.
Young at Heart
We meet in the library (ready to eat) the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 1pm. We are a group of mostly retired people, who enjoy socializing and getting to know each other better. We enjoy play games such as Twitch and Social Security, celebrating the holidays together, and having delicious, bountiful, potluck meals. Come join the fun and bring a friend.
